Canva is an online graphic design platform that provides tools for creating social media graphics, presentations, flyers, and more. UCLA Canva for Teams offers pre-made, UCLA branded templates designed to maintain overall brand consistency.

UCLA Canva for Teams offered to faculty, staff and marketing teams will include a basic brand kit, consisting of logos, fonts, and colors, making it easy to ensure consistency and compliance. Users will also have access to a growing collection of customizable UCLA branded templates.

Canva for Campus

The University of California has partnered with Canva to offer its full product suite to faculty, staff, and students across all UC locations. This initiative highlights UC’s dedication to providing its community with essential tools to succeed in the ever-changing educational and job market.

Faculty and staff requesting a premium Canva license through their department should visit the Canva service page for more information. The page contains step-by-step guides, videos, and additional resources to walk them through the request process.

As part of UC’s agreement with Canva, all departments can request premium Canva accounts for UCLA faculty and staff members (including UCLA Health) at a discounted rate.

Yes. Canva allows for collaboration with anyone. You can share a link that lets anyone view and edit your design.

Canva Magic Studio is not enabled yet to ensure the safety and security of you and your data. ITS will test to determine if AI features can be unlocked while adhering to UC policy and safeguarding the campus community.
